In 2021, when Marsden Jazz Festival returned after lockdown, I was commissioned to create a multi-screen video installation using the video footage of outdoor musical performances that I had recorded the previous year for the virtual festival.

Using three projection screens, I created an immersive record of five musical performances, using the different screens to depict the musicians and the landscape in which the performances took place.

In addition to the video, multi-channel audio was provided by the University of Huddersfield’s HISS sound system, derived from 360º audio recordings.

The installation ran from October 8-10th 2021 at Marsden Mechanics Hall.
