In 2023, I was commissioned to produce a series of video projections for a live performance of Prince songs at the Lawrence Batley Theatre conceived and led by Hardeep Sahota and written by Boff Whalley. Some of the videos accompanied songs, some of them formed the backdrop to a series of oral histories. Here is a selection of the videos I created. The challenge was to try to create a different feel for each video, combining 80s style graphics, the kind of visual motifs Prince favoured and the West Yorkshire landscape.
