Recently I was invited by Kristin Marshall to make a short film celebrating the opening of an exhibition of photographic slides at Manchester Metropolitan University’s School of Art. The slides were taken from the Visual Resource Centre, an amazing resource of over 300,000 slides produced and collected over several decades. Students and staff were asked to select slides from the collection and write about their choice. The Centre is an Aladdin’s den of images. Here’s the film.
